johnson and his wife. nine more people including three county police officers have been arrested in the massive corruption case. sarah simmons joins us with the latest. >> reporter: good morning. after the officers were arrested, the prince george's county police chief coming out with some very strong words saying these are bad people that need to go away. obviously, again, very strong words from the chief after three of his county police officers were arrested yesterday. now, two of the officers arrested are sergeant richard delabrer and corporal chong kim. it started yesterday with agents searching 11 locations including tick-tock liquors. the owner, and his wife and sergeant delabrer and officer kim are among the people charged. investigators claimed the liquor store owners would pay

the officers to ensure safe transport of untaxed cigarettes and alcohol in virginia. they say they are part of the young probe that led to the arrest of jack johnson and his wife, leslie. >> our interest in corruption in this county has been long- standing and long reaching. this has included wiretaps and cooperating individuals. >> reporter: now, a third officer was also indicted here, charged with conspiracy to distribute cocaine and use of firearms for drug trafficking. these officers have been suspended without pay. they could face 20 years as a maximum prison time they could serve if convicted here. at this point, the fbi says this investigation is something that could go back, extend back more than four years possibly. we're live here in prince george's county. sarah simmons, back to you. the man elected to take

ingmar guandique to testify. however, the defense did question one of his former cell mates. told the court he never heard guandique admit to killing levy. when the trial started, guandique was facing six charges. four have now been dropped. guandique is still facing murder charges. a nightmare for a couple in connecticut. man convicted of killing their son is now suing them. david weaver is serving a 10- year sentence no hitting and killing matthew kenny with his car. he is blaming the parents for allowing the son to ride his bike without a helmet. getting this video in of a bull in a rampage in canada. the 1600-pound bull bucked off the rider and jumped the fence into the stands. one of the riders was able to get a rope around the bull. four people were injured. one person was sent to the

we do have the fog. periods of rain through the day and there is a lot more moisture out there off to the south and west so still, there is your area of low pressure. that has got to work its way in here. we have a warning or watch box in effect for portions of florida. we'll check that in just a little bit. still, a lot of precipitation to get through. we do think there will be some heavy rain primarily west of the district is what we are thinking. let's take a look at how long we think this is going to last. this is your futurecast, a model run of what we expect to see. rain across the area during the morning hours and during the afternoon as well. there are your heavy rains off to the west into the evening hours. could see a thunderstorm or two with that low pressure system moving by. for tomorrow morning, you could still see some lingering showers and then it is all out of here by midday tomorrow. tes the region right now, 51 degrees in

sated the police chief of new carrollton has been linked to questionable sale of industry property and a former officer is now talking about it for the first time. >> maureen umeh sat down with him and then confronted the chief in this fox 5 investigation. >> reporter: public auctions happen all the time. the city selling off unused or unneeded property like vehicles. but that is not how things work in the small maryland city of new carrollton. >> some vehicles will be in the back for some reason or another. >> reporter: billy kuda works as a new carrollton police officer from qix to 2009. he says he often noticed impounded vehicle parked behind the police station. a fore-during black acura like this caught his eye back in 2008 so he says he approached his boss, police chief david wright. >> he came back to me and told me that if i wanted the vehicle, it would cost me $2,000. he asked for cash. >> reporter: billy says he paid the money and got a title a day

later listed under new carrollton but no other paperwork. >> the chief advised me it wasn't necessary. >> reporter: billy's nephew, in the car business himself, says he also talked with the chief several times about buying vehicles. >> you had looked at other cars before? >> uh-huh. >> where did you look at those cars? >> in the station. >> reporter: around the same time billy got the acura, he says he bought two cars from the chief. he says they settled on $4,000 for two cars. >> i gave him money in the back in the parking lot. >> i also have a question for chief rice. >> reporter: questions about selling vehicles have come up with chief rice before at the city council meeting in 2008. >> i thought we had had to have

a public notification before selling them. >> no, public notification. this was before the big thing of trying to get them auctioned off. we had them back there. >> reporter: and when asked about the three vehicles. >> fox 5 put in a freedom of information request. we got three dates showing three cars sold only to billy kuda. they totaled $2,000. >> i know i paid $2,000 to one vehicle and another two vehicles were sold for $4,000. this is totally false. >> reporter: what happened to the money? >> the money is simple. it is $2,000. that is all that was paid for the cars. that's it. >> reporter: so these people are making up the extra amount? >> absolutely. >> reporter: chief rice stands firm he didn't pocket any money and that he was given

permission to sell only those three vehicles by the city administrator. but fox 5 has found there are others. in june 2007, neighboring riverdale park police department agreed to sell six. its cars to new carrollton police at discounted prices. we obtained these bills of sale for the ford crown vic. new carrollton paid with a $500 check and $5,500 in cash. but not all of those vehicles ended up being used by new carrollton police department. we discovered after those cars were bought, only one ended up being titled and registered for government use. a car fax search shows another five police cars registered as commercial vehicles 10 days after being sold to new carrollton police department. so what happened to them? fox 5 found they were sold to the largest cab company in prince george's county, silver cab. owner told us he bought them from chief rice paying with two

>> take your pick from all the big plays last night. the eagles and skins with a crucial divisional match-up on monday night football but boy, did it get out of hand in a hurry. michael vick had a career game using his arms and legs for a total of six touchdowns. >> this was impressive. it is the talk of the town here and in philly as well. check out this headline in the philadelphia enquirer. it says payback with a picture of michael vick scoring. there you go. >> you know, guys, they said that the eagles were very fired up by what donovan mcnabb had said after the first time they played and remember, after game, he was in the locker room and he said everybody makes mistakes, the eagles certainly made one. that is their payback. they said they were motivated by that. >> dave ross in the studio to talk about it ya. if that what is it takes to moat have a you, so be it.

right now with the latest. good morning. >> reporter: good morning. prince george's county police chief roberto some strong words yesterday saying this was a disgrace to the department. he even said -- he called the officers bad people who need to go away. very strong words, very upset with what has happened after the arrest of three of his county police officers. two of the officers who were arrested are sergeant richard delabrer and corporal chong kim. it started monday morning with agents searching 11 different locations throughout prince george's county including tick knock liquors in langley park. the owner, amrik, melhi, his wife ravinder, sergeant delabrer and corporal kim are on -- among those charged. this is all part of the ongoing corruption probe that led to

the consider of county executive jackson jack -- jack johnson and his wife last week. >> there are a series of related investigations. these two cases have one important feature in common. they allege that police officers violated the trust of the people of prince george's county, sold their authority and joined with criminals to commit serious criminal violations. >> the third officer who was also indicted is sinisa simic. he is charged with conspiracy to distribute cocaine and also use of firearms for drug trafficking. all of these officers are suspended without pay for the time being and could face a maximum of 20 years in prison if convicted on all these charges. sarah simmons, back to you. still ahead, the so-called merchant of death extradited to the united states. we'll explain. plus, new video of and tax on a u.s. military base over the weekend. we'll check more headlines.

the flames sent huge clouds of smoke into the sky. the intense fire destroyed six armrd vehicles and one ambulance. rescue workers continue to search for more survivors from the deadly building collapse in new delhi, india. the five-story apartment complex collapsed yesterday. the death toll is up to 65. dozens more have been injured about. 200 people lived in that building. officials think about 30 people are still trapped underneath the rubble. do you love digging for rock or did you as a child? details of one very large and special rock unearthed years ago. turns out it is not just a paperweight. we'll take a look at your weather and traffic. >> we'll say hello to this facebook fan of the day. her profile pick is her daughter's soccer team would recently won a championship. search us by looking for fox 5
